New Sales Manager for London and the South-East
We are pleased to have appointed a new Regional Sales Manager to our team. Paul Mallinson joined us in August and will be responsible for sales in London and the South-East.
Paul will be focusing on building upon the existing strong relationships with builders’ merchants in the South East, as well as forging new ones.
Paul joins us with extensive experience in doors and timber, having previously worked within the construction product market for more than 20 years, mainly within the door industry. This includes many years working as a sales manager for doorset specialists Leaderflush Shapland and also manufacturer / distributor Premdor.
As well as that, Paul has also got stuck in himself and completed a couple of his own self builds – so well understands the work involved from both sides of the fence.
Paul said: “I’m really loving my new role, and I’ve started out by meeting builders’ merchants and keeping them up to date with all of JB Kind’s exciting new ranges and offers.
“JB Kind is exceptionally highly regarded within the construction industry for its unrivalled doors in quality and range, and I will relish the opportunity to show off these fantastic products and further cement JB Kind’s strong position in London and the South-East – where I am from myself.
“I wanted to join JB Kind to do something that I am personally passionate about, and that is bringing great quality timber doors into the construction market.
“As well as meeting all those builders’ merchants who are already aware of JB Kind’s fantastic range, I am also looking forward to reaching out into new areas where its work is less well known, and bringing JB Kind’s superb quality doors to a wider audience.”
Paul Way, National Sales Manager says:
“We are very excited to have Paul Mallinson join us as a Regional Sales Manager for London and the South-East. JB Kind already has great relationships in this part of Britain and we are looking forward to seeing those become even stronger through Paul – as well as reaching new areas too. He comes to JB Kind with bags of experience in both the door and timber sectors, and has extensive contacts in the construction product market. Not only that, his passion for doors and what we do here at JB Kind is absolutely clear, so we know he is the best man for us when he goes out to show off our products in the UK capital and the south-east.”
When he’s not busy out on the road representing JB Kind, Paul enjoys walking to keep fit, and also playing golf off his handicap of 16. He loves to travel the world and has visited many places including parts of Asia, Hong Kong and the Americas.
