Charity Gala Dinner raises £2,500 for Dementia UK
It was a foot-tapping night full of music, games and fun when we hosted a charity gala dinner this October for Dementia UK.
Earlier this year, we announced that our charity for 2019 and 2020 would be Dementia UK, with the specific aim of trying to gather enough funds and support to help get a specialist “Admiral Nurse” in Derbyshire.
On October 4, we held a glittering charity dinner at Burton Albion Football Club where JB Kind staff , friends, family and other guests mingled to have a fabulous time for a very worthy cause.
On the night, guests enjoyed some classic party games such as Irish bingo and Heads and Tails, a simple but hilarious concept which quite literally got people on their feet.
Dinner guests chose to pay to join in the games and the proceeds as well as a raffle and ticket sales boosted the overall figure to a whopping £2,500!
With music provided by talented tribute act “RedEd Sheeran” – it really was a night to remember.

Lots of friends and family of JB Kind came along to show their support and we were particularly delighted that other guests with no connection to our business heard about what we were doing and bought tickets too.
“Everyone integrated well together and a fantastic time was had by all.
“We’d like to thank the amazingly talented RedEd Sheeran who was in fine voice on the night, as well as our hosts Burton Albion Football Club for looking after us so well, plus all those who so generously gave donations and raffle prizes to help make the night such a success.”

Here at JB Kind, we are very proud of our track record in raising money for worthy causes. Our last nominated charity was Macmillan Cancer Support, for whom we raised nearly £8,000 over a two-year period.
