JB Kind has been a leading supplier of wooden doors to the UK housing market for almost four decades and timber specialists for over 150 years. Our ethos is to provide innovative, quality products in a large selection of designs and styles, and to deliver our customers with an exceptional experience.

Today we offer more than 200 door designs and sell over ¼ million doors every year through our strong network of builders’ merchants, door retailers and online providers.  As long term experts in wooden doors, their manufacture and design, we believe that our dedicated team makes JB Kind the  UK’s leading wooden door company.

Our large product portfolio of internal doors, offers superior style through our innovative, contemporary and traditional designs, as well as value for money.

Space-saving bi-fold door options and pocket door systems, stylish door handles and convenient latch packs are all available to help make your door purchase easier.

All of our internal door ranges offer an option to use a FD30 fire door and, as well as glazed fire doors, we can also make bespoke fire doors to our customers’ specifications.

Our bespoke service is ideal for those special requirements – whether you require a special size, an alternative timber veneer or wish to create something completely unique and different.

Responsible sourcing credentials > JB Kind

Wood is a finite resource if it is not managed responsibly, so environmental sustainability is at the heart of our businesses processes.  All of JB Kind’s doors are purchased from legal wood sources and many of the Company’s doors hold the globally recognised FSC® Forestry Stewardship Council®  certification.

As well as environmental credentials, we conduct audits on our national and international suppliers to determine and monitor their quality, health & safety and human resource policies.

Our big heart > JB Kind’s Charitable Fundraising

At JB Kind we work within a strong moral and ethical framework and our team works hard on initiatives to benefit worthy causes. Over the last few years JB Kind team members and their families have raised thousands of pounds for charities like Dementia UK, Macmillan Cancer Support, Burton Stroke Society, National Memorial Arboretum, Derbyshire, Leicestershire and Rutland Air Ambulance and St Giles Hospice by undertaking fundraising activities including sky-diving from 13,000ft, holding our own Charity Golf Day and hiking one of our wooden doors up to the top of Mount Snowdon!

From 2022 to 2023, our main charitable efforts will focus on the mental health charity MIND, raising money for our local branch Burton & District Mind.
