Frames and Linings
JB Kind offers a range of door linings and frames to complement both internal and external doors.
Internal Door Lining Sets
Our internal door lining sets are white primed, ready for a top coat paint finish and available in two size options to accommodate different wall thicknesses. Choose from Trenched or Universal sets, including options compatible with JB Kind’s FD30 fire doors.
Constructed from engineered hardwood for enhanced stability and durability. Free from dead knots, eliminating the risk of sap stains and paint discolouration.
Trenched Door Lining Sets: for convenience, the head section is trenched and reversible, accommodating either a 762mm or 838mm width door, reducing fitting time. Loose ‘stops’ are provided to allow for precise positioning for the perfect door stop. Trenched FD30 fire door lining sets are also available, pre-grooved ready for 15mm x 4mm intumescent seals. Please refer to the individual fire door’s installation guide to ensure compliance and performance.
Universal Door Lining Sets: can be cut to size for doors with heights up to 2040mm and widths up to 980mm. Loose ‘stops’ are provided to allow for precise positioning for the perfect door stop. Universal FD30 fire door lining sets are also available, pre-grooved to accommodate 15mm x 4mm intumescent seals for straight forward installation.
Exterior Hardwood Door Frames
JB Kind’s exterior door frames are supplied in a reversible kit format for easy assembly and can accommodate doors measuring 1981 x 762mm, 1981 x 838mm, and 2032 x 813mm.
- Premium Hardwood Construction: Supplied unfinished, ready for painting or staining. Frames are robust and ready mortised for easy assembly.
- Reversible Design: Can be installed to open inward or outward.
- Kit Includes: 2 jambs, 1 sill, 1 head, weather seals, and a waterbar.
